Our professional staff are experienced in a vast number of web technologies, therefore enabling us to offer a wide range of options. These include, but are not limited to, HTML, XML, ASP, JSP, PHP, .Net, Java, Javascript, CSS, CGI, Flash Animation.

Our designers are artistic, creative and user-centric. We seek to embrace your current logo, styles, graphics, or we can create new stylish, modern, eye catching graphics and logos that would be appropriate for your business.

Static Websites

If the content of your website will stay mostly the same and doesn't need regular updates, its known as a static website.

Static sites can be constructed and maintained quickly and cost-effectively.

Static websites can have moving graphics and animations, or even something that is calculated or looked up, such as a date or an exchange rate, however the content remains constant unless the pages are updated by a website developer. Such updates normally atract fees, which although normally minor can accumulate if too many changes are needed.

Static sites are usually the most cost-effective option, as long as your web site's content can remain static.

Provide IT can analyse your requirements and discuss whether or not a static site is most suitable for your current and future needs. With this information, you can then decide which option is the most optimal and appropriate solution for your needs and budget.

Dynamic Websites

If your website's content needs to change on a regular basis, then it is known as a dynamic website.

Usually, the best way to manage a dynamic website's changing content data is through a Content Management System (CMS), which involves the data being displayed from and saved to an online database.

A CMS provides a way of updating your website by yourself, which means it stays current without having to wait for or pay for a programmer, which in turn tends to make your visitors happy.

Database-powered sites, and the updated content that goes with them, add value and gets results. Your visitors won't know that they are accessing a database when they visit your site, as there is no visual difference between a dynamic and a static site.

In most cases your dynamic website can use generic 3rd party CMS software (which is free), but the look and feel of these will still need customising with your company graphics, info and so forth. In other cases, where the information that you need to store and display is specialised, a custom CMS can be developed. Provide IT is experienced with the delivery of both of these implementations.

We use a range of tools to build content-rich sites, e-commerce systems, and web applications that personalize the user experience, including communication technologies such as newsletters and social media. Provide IT is experienced with all the current web development technologies.

Web Marketing

A website is only effective if people know where to find it. People can find your web address by a number of ways. These include:

  • word of mouth
  • advertisements
  • business cards
  • search engine results
  • pay per click links

Search Engine Optimisation

Most sites rely primarily on their addresses appearing in search engines. Unless you're promoting a fairly obscure product, service or concept, the competition to appear in the first few entries of a search engine's results is fierce.

In order to optimise a website's search engines results, a number of steps need to be taken. First and foremost your site needs to be constructed with search engines in mind. This means making a site friendly to bots and spiders (automated webcrawling programmes) as well as to humans.

The right keywords need to be chosen, links bidirectional need to be established, the site content optimised and the site needs to be submitted to the major search engines and directories for your site.

Provide IT will take care of all this technical stuff and let you do what you do best, your business.

Branding

Graphics and branding are an important part of any business. Whether it be flashy pictures, animations, logos, photographs, images, or simply colours and fonts that provide the best to your business cards, signage or website, it is essential to use graphics effectively to capture and hold your audience's attention.

LOGOs
A highly effective corporate logo becomes a symbol of your company's identity and demonstrates your attention to detail and organisational style whether it's used on your website, advertising or stationery. Our graphic designer can uplift your company's identity by creating a new logo or breathing life into your existing logo.

GRAPHICs:
When using graphics within a website, the question of size versus clarity must always be posed. Our graphic designer can ensure that your graphics have the optimal size, type and clarity for their intended use.

eCommerce

Provide IT can provide you with the ability to sell your goods and services online.

Despite the rush of e-commerce activity that was predicted during the dot com era never having arrived, e-commerce is slowly but surely beoming an integral part of everyday life for more and more people.
